Where to Visit

Visitor Testimonials (508)

We arrived without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised to be seated in less than 10 minutes. We had a pizza, ravioli and mussels soup. All were excellent. We even ordered extra bread to mop up all the soup. Service was quick and attentive, though the maître d' did appear stressed as the night wore on. Definitely would visit again.

Had a good buzz to the restaurant when we visited on a weekday evening. We arrived at around 8:15 and it was a bit touch and go whether we would be allowed to dine (due to the place closing at 9pm I guess). We were told we were allowed but had to order quickly. Within about 2mins our server was back over to take out order, luckily id already decided what I wanted! I asked whether I could have the veal chop with pasta rather than chips (which I personally feel is a fair request and something I've done at other restaurants). Our server just told us no, without any real explanation, asking to kitchen or saying that it could but only if I paid more (which I was happy to do). I was a bit disappointed and ordered the steak instead. The steak was delicious and my partner's salmon was great. The wine we had was also incredible. Overall a good meal, but it was obvious that our server didn't want to be there and I think her attitude reflected that.

Dolce Bellissimo was a real find. We chanced upon it as we were shopping in Claremont. It was buzzing which is always a good sign. Got a nice table for two. Menu is quite extensive with a good wine list and several desserts to choose from. We ordered a Rhonda pizza and a prawn and squid salad with 2 glasses of Prosecco to wash it down. Both meals arrived in about 20 mins. They looked amazing and tasted just as good. This was one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time, wood fired to perfection, my wife even ate the edge of the crust which is a first. The seafood in the salad (prawns, squid and scallop) was grilled beautifully and complimented the green salad beautifully. We finished with a great coffee. All in all our best lunch experience in a little while. Bravo Dolce Bellissimo!

This Italian restaurant is well known in Claremont area. They are famous for their high quality food served out. They are just superb. As an Asian from Singapore, I’m especially a picky Italian food eater. And boy, do I tell you that the chef cooks very very good Italian food. I love their pizzas, chicken salad and pastas. The pizzas’ crusts are wood fired and are thin and fresh. Salad portions are big enough to share and their seafood pasta, tastes like those which sauces have been cooked for hours. Only one small downside to this place is that, the staff don’t smile very much. They can come across as proud if you don’t understand the stress they face with the number of customers that walk in. So can feel a bit intimidating the moment you walk in. This restaurant is my go to place on most fridays and weekends. I recommend going earlier as they don’t take bookings. They are always busy and they are THAT good.

Almost gave this wonderful Italian restaurant a pass after reading some negative reviews, I was sceptical to patronise this restaurant. We decided to go for it and it was a right decision. The food is awesome and very delicious. Service was extremely attentive and very welcoming. I was lucky to be seated early: The crowd built up very fast after we sat down. Definitely will come again and recommend this restaurant to my friends.

The Gorgonzola pizza was very tasty. The chilli mussels however, were just ok - I would not recommend. A bit pricey. Attentive service.

The food here was so good that we decided to come here for 2 days in a row! Expect around 5 minute wait because of the businesses but in my opinion, the wait was worth it! The staff were also very friendly.
